Crafting one-of-a-kind custom homes is the hallmark of Bickford Construction Corporation.  Regardless of the size or cost of the home, our goal is to maximize the value for the budget and to conduct the process in such a manner that it is enjoyable for our customers.  We only build two to three custom homes per year so that each home receives our full focus and attention to every detail.

The services we offer on custom homes often begin long before the first shovel is put in the ground.  We are happy to consult with our customers on site selection and feasibility.  We also offer either in-house design services, or we have a number of top notch designers and architects that we can recommend.  Our advice is to have us involved during the design process so that we can help to steer the design towards something that will fulfill your needs while remaining within your budget.

Before work begins we will provide you with a detailed Outline Specification that describes in detail the full scope of work for each phase of the project.  We also will provide you with an estimate of the cost of construction so that there will not be any surprises.  

We will prepare a critical path method (CPM) construction schedule and will provide our homeowners with a Selection List that outlines all decisions and selections that need to be made throughout the project along with dates that those decisions are needed by.

During construction, we meet with our homeowners on a regular basis to keep them informed and to help them through the process of making all the needed decisions.  We are happy to accompany our custom home customers to our suppliers' showrooms and offer guidance to help with selections.

We take pride in using high quality materials and make sure that all work is performed to our high standards.  We keep our jobsites clean and safe and are very proud of our outstanding safety record.  We make decisions and build each home as if we were building it for ourselves and are always proud of our craftsmanship when we walk away.

At the end of the project we will conduct a homeowner orientation session to acquaint you with your new home and will present you with a Homeowner’s Manual that will have all of your owner’s manuals, warranty and selection information in one organized spot.
