The integrity of a great leader, combined with the wisdom and good-humor of your favorite teacher, topped off with the patience of a Saint.  That’s what you get when you do business with Bob Bickford.  We’ve been in our home for 8 months now and we continue to count our lucky stars for having the good fortune of crossing paths with Bickford Construction.  
This was our first building experience;   it was a very big deal for us and it was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.  From our initial meeting with Bob, we recognized the value he would bring to our project.  Bob has the perfect temperament to listen, observe and offer unassuming solutions that he leaves up for the grabbing.  It was very comforting.  We got to tweak the project exactly the way we wanted it but we always knew we had Bob, armed with his years of experience,  to provide input on the pros and cons of our decisions.   Bob showed no bias towards his suggestions and never let us forget that we were the customers.  
We are convinced that Bob and his crew made all the difference in our building experience.   Bob was in constant communication with us regarding what would happen when; and it always did.  The Bickford crew and all of their subcontractors always showed up when they said they would – it was quite remarkable.  Bob’s crew was courteous and professional and their workmanship is second to none.  On several occasions, we had vendors and subcontractors commend us on our choice of builders stating:  “…he’ll build your house like he’s building it for himself.”  And that’s exactly how we felt throughout the project.  The peace of mind Bob and his crew provided enabled us to forget the stressors (budget, timeline, quality) and focus on the utter excitement of building our new home.  Our house was completed on time, within budget and the finished product is far, far better than our original plan.
